#983 Ad block

Since I started using adblock in my browser I have found my online life to be strangely empty. Well, more than before at least. It’s like 70 per cent of webpage content had suddenly vanished without a trace, leaving only blank squares and rectangles. Blocked, blocked, blocked.

Ads, I miss you, the colors, the .99s, the promises leaving me wanting more, the whole mirage.Come back.

Just kidding, fuck you right up.

But it is true: If you switch on ad block or two and look again at mainstream online news outlets, you will see a lot of the essential content missing. The ads were in fact essential and the news a secondary addition made to be compatible with advertisers’ wishes. It’s a strange sight.
