E-motion

Relation requires response and response requires e-motion. There is no such thing as an emotionless response to a situation. There may be aloofness or indifference or cool, but these too are emotional responses. As long as you are not under the mistaken impression that they are emotionally void, aloofness, indifference and cool are worth cultivating as they promote your autonomy and conservation of your energy, and yet–precisely because they still relate you to the situation–they do not preclude motivation to act and do not negate resolve and determination.

Dig deep into not giving a fuck and explore its power. Just don’t forget that, as long as you want to understand your situation at all, you are in emotion territory.
